    new to online schooling

    hi everyone my names kellie and im currently looking at the learning aspect online. and would like to get feedback about the ups and downs of  learning your courses online. im a mother of 2 girls. ones 9 n the others 5. and im in a small town on the coast of oregon. so im curious as to whether or not online verses the classroom would be best for me.      Kelly i am a mom of three and work part time. online schooling has worked great for me. you must be self motivated and willing to participate more than you would in a reg classroom but as far as time goes you can do classwork anytime anywhere

    I'll second all of that, Angie. Having the advantage of participating anytime (and anywhere you can log in) is the only way I can complete my degree. But it does take self-motivation. My 19-year-old traditional student son failed an online class last year. He just didn't stay with it and missed deadlines. He said he would never take an online class again. He doesn't have the maturity yet.
